Product Marketing Manager, Piracy and Cybercrime Management


Lucas Catranis is the Product Marketing Manager for Piracy and Cybercrime Management at Irdeto. Lucas is responsible for the technical and strategic design of internal and external managed services at Irdeto as well assisting in the global investigative and intelligence activities regarding digital piracy threats to Irdeto’s customers.
From 2003 to 2013, Lucas was the Chief Technical Officer at Babtel, a secure communications provider supporting multiple Department of Defense and State Department Agencies, and security contractors during Operation Iraq Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Lucas has previously worked at Apple, Inc. and served as a System Architect for Skyway Partners where he was responsible for the design and construction of Conditional Access Systems and triple-play MDU/MTU Networks.

Lucas went to The Pennsylvania State University for his Bachelor of Arts and earned multiple academic awards as well as membership to The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Lucas currently holds technical certifications from Cisco Systems, Apple, Inc. CWNP, ITIL, AWS, Digium and SafeNet.

Richard Einstein is Vizrt’s Head of Sports for Americas since 2015 (based out of New York). Prior to that he was the business development manager for Vizrt Sports in Latin America (based out of Brazil). Richard Einstein joined Vizrt (in Switzerland; back then LiberoVision) in 2010 as Marketing manager. Richard holds a Master in “Management, Technology & Economics” at the ETH Zurich, the leading Swiss technology university. He also holds a bachelor in mechanical engineering at the same university.

Pedro has worked in the media industry since he was 17, occupying different positions in TV production, with a few stints in radio and graphic production as well. After graduating with a degree in Journalism, Pedro went to work for Torneos y Competencias, and later held various roles in different companies belonging to this multimedia group. Since 2003, he has been in charge of TyC Sport's programming and acquisitions.

Jay has over 25 years’ experience in operations, finance, technology, strategy development, implementation, turnaround and re-positioning. He works with innovative technology companies and start-ups in the software, technology, new media and telecom sectors to successfully scale businesses on a global basis.

Before joining Supponor, Jay was the CEO of, a company he successfully exited after leading an MBO. Prior to this, Jay was Executive Chairman of Atego, which he founded after leading an MBO of Artisan Software Tools where he was CEO. Jay has previously also spent time as CEO of Adaptive, an enterprise software company providing the leading repository technology for metadata management, enterprise architecture and business process management solutions for Global 100 financial services companies and governments.

Jay is a Chartered Director with both the UK’s Institute of Directors and the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors. He also has a Doctorate in Business Administration from the International School of Management (Paris, France); an MBA from Baylor University (Texas, USA); and a BSc in Business Administration from the State University of New York.

Ken Kerschbaumer is executive director, editorial services, of the Sports Video Group and SVG Europe. He has been writing about how sports networks and leagues use video and audio technology to deliver a quality TV experience since 1991 when began his career at Television Broadcast magazine and TVB Europe.

In 1998 he was named editor of Digital Television magazine before joining Broadcasting & Cable in 2000 as senior editor, technology.

He left Broadcasting & Cable in 2005 to begin SVG. Today the organisation has a global presence as it supports advances in sports content creation and distribution.

Oscar began his professional career in Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales 20 years ago as head of Booking and Product Manager for Servicios de Televisión. In 2000, Oscar joined the Mediapro Group as Commercial Director of GlobeCast España, which was later to become Overon, where he held the position until transferring to Miami in 2012 to take up the post as CEO of Overon America. Currently, Oscar is Executive Vice President of Imagina US, taking care of Sports Rights, Content and Prodcution.

Most recently he was President of International Business at Traffic Sports Marketing. At MP & Silva, Jochen is responsible for setting the company’s vision, values, and business strategy

William is VP Digital for MP & Silva, one of the world’s leading sports media rights and sponsorship agencies. Based out of New York, he leads the company’s commercial efforts across VOD, live streaming, and social media opportunities. An expert on the intersection of sports and digital media, William was named one of Forbes Magazine's "30 Under 30" in Sports, and has been a guest lecturer at Columbia University and the London Business School.

Prior to MP & Silva, William was Head of College Sports for YouTube. At YouTube he also worked with major broadcasters, professional leagues, athletes, national teams, and multi-channel creator networks to grow their respective propositions on the world's largest video platform. 

William completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, earning a BA in Psychology with Honors, and has his MBA from the London Business School.

Javier Tebas Medrano became the President of LaLiga in April 2013, having previously served as Vice President and as a member of the league’s Executive Committee. Prior to that he had been President of the Spanish football club SD Huesca. He has been a practising lawyer since 1987. He has served as legal advisor to several Spanish and foreign clubs and sports entities and serves on the boards of several national and international associations. He also teaches Master’s degree courses on Sports and Commerce.

Richard received a NCTJ diploma in journalism from Cardiff University, and worked for PoliticsHome and ICIS before joining the TV Sports Markets.
